Fregio Modern is a new typeface based on a modular type system of Italian origin that dates from the nineteen twenties. The type system was featured in the Encyclopaedia of Type Faces by W. Turner Berry. Based on twenty interchangeable forms, the type is tall and clean with a condensed form.
This hand-crafted sans serif typeface can stand on its own as a display type or be used as secondary type. It features a full uppercase set with numbers and punctuation. A solid sans, Fregio Modern, is extremely useful in branding and display work.
